Dr Marie-Theres Girtler, MD (med. univ.)
Acupuncture and Complementary Medicine
Dr Marie-Theres Girtler graduated from the Medical University of Innsbruck in 2007 and subsequently passed the Italian state medical examination. She also earned a diploma in acupuncture from the Austrian Medical Association (ÖGKA Graz) in 2007 after two years of specialised training.
Having gained experience as a junior doctor in radiology at Innsbruck University Hospital from 2015 to 2016, Dr Girtler deepened her expertise by completing a three-year master’s programme in traditional Chinese acupuncture at the S.MNC Scaligera in Verona, finishing in 2019. Since 2021, Dr Girtler has been a freelance doctor at Brixsana. She actively pursues additional training to provide her patients with the best possible treatment.
