Dr Olbert pursued his medical education from 1989 to 1995, studying at the universities of Regensburg and Munich. He began his specialisation in urology at the Technical University of Munich under the guidance of Prof. Rudolf Hartung and completed it in 2002 at the Urological University Clinic of Philipps University, Marburg. Following his habilitation – a post-doctoral qualification – in urology, Dr Olbert worked as Senior Physician and Deputy Clinic Director at the Marburg Urological University Clinic. From 2008 to 2016, he also coordinated the Prostate Cancer Center at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Marburg. His clinical expertise lies in uro-oncology and the endoscopic-interventional diagnosis and treatment of urological diseases.
