Dr Roland Ausserhofer, MD (med. univ.)

Dr Roland Ausserhofer earned his doctorate in general medicine from the Leopold-Franzens University of Innsbruck in 1997. He specialised in orthopaedics and traumatology at the University of Trieste, completing his training in 2004. Dr Ausserhofer began his career as a general practitioner and junior doctor at Bruneck Hospital. From 2004 to 2020, he worked at the same facility as a senior physician in orthopaedics and traumatology and later as the Head of Rehabilitation.
In 2008, he co-founded the private practice Traumacenter Kronplatz. From 2021 to 2024, Dr Ausserhofer expanded his expertise at Brixen Hospital before joining Brixsana.
