Dr Thomas Egger, MD

Dr Thomas Egger completed his medical degree at the University of Padua before specialising in orthopaedics and traumatology at the University of Trieste. Following a four-month deployment in Bosnia as a military doctor with the Italian Army Air Force, Dr Egger began his professional career at Bruneck Hospital, where he worked as a senior physician at the first service level from 2004 to 2018.
Dr Egger has extensive expertise in knee, shoulder and hip surgery, particularly arthroscopic procedures. He has completed numerous specialisation courses in these areas and has been a member of the German-speaking Association for Arthroscopy and Joint Surgery (AGA) since 2001. In 2008, he co-founded the orthopaedic traumatology practice Traumacenter Kronplatz. Since 2018, Dr Egger has been working at Brixsana.
